What is the HSK?
The Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) 汉语水平考试Hànyǔ Shuǐpíng Kǎoshì, an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency, assesses non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities in using the Chinese language in their daily, academic, and professional lives.
Passing a level test is a very effective way to maintain or enhance learning, and it is also a test of your Chinese proficiency.
* Due to the holiday, the announcement date of the results will be postponed for one week.
HSK2, HSK4, HSK6 are in the morning from 9:00.
HSK1, HSK3, HSK5 are in the afternoon from 13:00.
As long as the total score reaches 180 points, you will pass the exam, regardless of the separate scores for listening, reading, or writing.
The first time is Nov 26, 2022.
HSK (Level 7-9) adopts the form of computer network test only currently, not paper-based yet.
HSK 7-9 exam is only one test: the result will determine whether you are certified HSK7, HSK8, or HSK9.
It’s a comprehensive test of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation skills with 98 questions in 210 minutes to complete.
The test paper is divided into five parts: listening, reading, writing, translation and speaking. Each part mainly tests one language skill, supplemented by other language skills.
The specific content and answer time are as follows:
Yes! All levels starting from HSK 3 will now include a spoken test from in China from January 2023.
For now, HSK1 and HSK2 do not have to sign up for the speaking test.
HSK Speaking Test (HSKK) assesses the test takers’ oral Chinese abilities, and consists of three levels,
HSKK (Primary level 初级)
HSKK (Intermediate level 中级)
HSKK (Advanced level 高级)
When registering for HSK Level 3 it is required to register for the HSKK Primary Level.
When registering for HSK Level 4 it is required to register for the HSKK Intermediate Level.
When registering for HSK Level 5 and Level 6 it is required to register for the HSKK Advanced Level.
At the above levels, HSK written and speaking test result reports will be issued together.
Combining the written test and the oral test can give better and more realistic feedback on the comprehensive level of Chinese learners. This is a good thing!
On the other hand, this requires Chinese language learners to pay more attention to spoken.
HSKK is conducted in the form of audio recording.
* Due to the holiday, the announcement date of the results will be postponed for one week.
