On January 23rd, Mr. Peng Fei, the head of the Chinese International Education Department at the College of Humanities and Foreign Languages of China Jiliang University, and "Favorite Teacher" Ms. Wang Xin, visited Chinese Surfing for the signing ceremony of the internship base agreement with China Jiliang University. The ceremony was successfully held at Chinese Surfing new office, chaired by Yang Ting, the General Manager of Chinese Surfing. Teaching Director Zhu Chencong, Market Director Luo Xiaoli, and foreign student representative Nicole attended the ceremony.
The collaborative establishment of this internship base holds significant importance for Chinese Surfing, as it enhances the school-enterprise cooperation and further strengthens the communication between Chinese Surfing and universities. Both parties have established a comprehensive strategic collaboration in research project cooperation, personnel training, and practical teaching. The internship and practical training primarily target students majoring in Chinese international education within the College of Humanities and Foreign Languages, as well as students from other majors. This multifaceted collaboration strategy has laid a solid foundation for Chinese Surfing to continually enhance the quality of teaching and research, promote corporate development, and provide strong support for the joint cultivation of excellent applied talents in Chinese international education.
Previously, Chinese Surfing was invited to China Jiliang University's School of Humanities and Foreign Languages to deliver a special lecture titled "International Chinese Education in a Global Context—Stories You Might Not Know" to graduate and undergraduate students majoring in Chinese language teaching. During the lecture, both parties put forward the core concept of "Chinese as a bridge, traveling together on the Silk Road." Drawing on years of teaching experience and practical examples, we emphasized the crucial role and significance of language communication in cultural exchange. At the same time, representatives from Chinese Surfing shared the latest industry trends, student profiles, on-the-ground teaching situations, and offered career planning advice for the students. In addition, Emma, the foreign student representative from Chinese Surfing, shared her experiences as a experienced Chinese learner. She provided insights into her journey of learning Chinese and offered a glimpse into her life in China as a volunteer at the Liangzhu Museum. Chinese Surfing along with teachers and students, engaged in a in-depth discussion on the latest trends in international Chinese education, teaching characteristics, challenges in cross-cultural communication, and mechanisms for cultivating excellent teaching staff. The aim was to collectively explore ways to promote the development of Chinese education globally and enhance the quality of teaching.
Win-win cooperation! Seizing this opportunity and motivation, Chinese Surfing will innovate, break new ground, and refine its courses and products. The goal is to enable Chinese language learners to truly converse and navigate China fluently in Chinese.
